In our historical, nearly 400 year old ECKBÄCKERHAUS in the old town of Friedrichstadt, you will experience your recognizable vacation in the monument. Our modern and fully equipped guest kitchen with adjoining roof terrace is located on the first floor. People meet here. Only one flight of stairs that relates to the private area: the gable room as a guest bedroom, a modern shower room and a cozy living room. Old town location and ideal contact for a North Sea vacation :-)

Wir haben uns mit dem Erwerb des Bäckerhauses in Friedrichstadt einen langjährigen Traum erfüllt. Alte geschichtsträchtige Häuser, die etwas zu erzählen haben, üben nicht nur auf uns eine Faszination der besonderen Art aus. Nach über 50 Jahren Jahren in Frankfurt am Main, haben wir uns entschieden, in Nordfriesland noch einmal etwas Neues zu beginnen. Ruhiger & gelassener zu leben und näher am Meer zu wohnen ist unsere Motivation. Gastgeber zu sein erfüllt unseren Alltag. Wo geht das besser, als mitten im historischen Kern der alten "Holländerstadt" Friedrichstadt an Nordfrieslands Westküste. We live on the ground floor and on the 1st floor. Therefore we will surely run into each other some time. We look forward to guests and are available as a contact person.

Directly in front of the house is a park (the Stadtfeld) with very well-tended flowers and bushes, nice benches and a children's playground. After a 1 minute walk you are already on the market square. With many shops, restaurants and cafes. The large natural outdoor pool on the Treene is a 5-minute walk away. Friedrichstadt's canals are in front of the door of our almost 400-year-old bakery. Regardless of whether a tour with the large canal boats (also covered) or a tour on your own with a rented pedal boat, paddle boat or electric boat ... Exploring Friedrichstadt from the water is a special experience. Our private holiday apartment is not only in a wonderful old town location, but also offers the ideal starting point for your North Sea vacation away from the tourist strongholds. From our picturesque little town you can reach the North Sea in 20 minutes by car (green beach bathing area), and in about 30 minutes by car in Sankt-Peter-Ording with its almost endless sandy beaches. And with the DEUTSCHE BAHN you can travel directly from Friedrichstadt to the beach in Westerland (Sylt) or Hamburg in just over an hour.
