Our spacious apartments are located in the historic Andreasviertel, in the northern part of the old town bordered by the Citatdelle Petersberg and the river "Gera". The origins of this district go back to the 10th and 11th centuries. Century back. In the GDR, the quarter was systematically abandoned to decay. Great civil protests stopped the demolition at the last minute and saved the neighborhood in the aftermath of the political change. The preserved houses have been lovingly restored and existing gaps have been closed with modern architecture. Our apartment borders on the island-like area "Venice".
